Last week DEX who owns the Gundam license in Thailand held the Gundam Expo Thailand 2009 event. They made the very large bust of RX-78 Gundam and put it on the outside of Siam Paragon where the event was held.
The maker claimed that the bust scale is 1:1 but someone told me that it isn’t that large. Its scale is about 1:6. It also has the light gimmick in its eyes.
I didn’t visit the event this year since I was quite disappointed with the event last year. Although Okawara Kunio who is the Gundam Designer was the special guest for this event.
