Finally my 2nd Japan trip blog reaches the last part. There was some time before my plane departures. So I looked around the Tokyo International Airport where people usually call it “Haneda Airport”.
From the earlier part. I went to the airport by Tokyo Monorail from Hamamastsusho Station. I got off the train at Haneda Airport International Terminal. So those who take the domestic flight. You need to continue riding to the next stations.
The check-in queue was long. So I went to check-in at the kiosk instead. Although the process is very fast. The boarding pass was printed on a thin thermal paper. Not a good choice for keepsake.
There were a lot of time before departure. I took a walk inside the terminal building.
On the 3rd floor is EDO MARKET where many restaurants and souvenirs shop are here.
The stores here are modeled after ancient Japanese building.
The rest area is also styled in Edo theme.
The light cherry blossom tree.
The elevator to the 4th floor. This area is quite famous for taking the photographs.
The 4th floor hallway where people who come with the last flight of the day usually sleep here.
The outside is observation deck.
On the left and the right side of the hallway is TOKYO POP TOWN where the souvenir shops are here. The left side is called HOT ZONE. At the time I went, they are closed.
The right side is called COOL ZONE that some shops still opened.
