After my adventure on the first day was end. My plan on the next day was Fairies mini live event at AEON Mall Tsuchiura in Ibaraki province.
Travel from Minami-Senju to Tsuchiura is easier than I thought. JR Joban Line that goes to Tsuchiura also stops at this station.
Because I left the hotel at dawn and it took a lot of time to travel to Tsuchiura. I bought breakfast and ate them in Green Car.
Now my train came to the station. It’s rapid train which mean it skips some stations.
Seats layout in Green Car is looked like the one in Narita Express.
To access the Green Car. You need to buy Green Car ticket which is separated from train fare. When you sit in the Green Car. Train staff will check your ticket. The seat status light above your seat will turn from red to green.
The seat is quite comfortable. There is a fold table, hanger for bag and coat. Train staff also sells drinks and snacks during the trip.
The breakfast I bought from Lawson. Salmon sushi and Starbucks green tea latte.
Only saw small villages or fields during travel.
I got off at Tsuchiura where is the quite large station because the shopping center is above the station. Then I took the bus in front of the station to AEON Mall.
Fairies fans queued for enter the event in front of the gate.
I was in the queue too.
I like how Japanese event organizer manage the queue for event. They indicate where and when we can wait for the event. Not randomly wait somewhere and has our chance steal by someone who come later like in my country.
Almost 9 AM people began to enter the event venue.
The staff explained the event schedule and rules. The rules were simple. Don’t use flash when taking a photo. Don’t use the tripods. (Monopod is fine.) And don’t hold the camera above your head.
After people reserved their place with their mat. They went outside the venue for eating, going to toilet or shopping. I use my coat instead since I don’t have any mats.
