The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022

On my latest Singapore trip, I also had the chance to see The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 other than Avatar: The Experience at Gardens by the Bay.

The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 is the first oversea debut of Doraemon Exhibition which is first held in 2022 in Japan. It is also restaged in 2017 and shows in 9 cities throughout Japan including Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo.

National Museum of Singapore

The exhibition is held at National Museum of Singapore where you can walk to from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station for about 5 minutes.

The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 – Ticket

The tickets aren’t sold at the museum’s tickets office but are sold on Klook website only. You can buy them beforehand or buy them when you arrive the museum.

At the time of my visit, there were also the tickets with collectibles or voucher for shopping at the exhibition souvenirs shop. I bought the ticket with card case and lanyard for SGD 30.

A Guide to The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022

The exhibition is divided into 4 parts which are in the museum’s gallery rooms on level 1 and B1.

Doraemon Café by Toraya Confectionery

At the end of escalator to level B1, you will see Doraemon Café that is next to Gallery Theatre where the exhibition ACT 2 is in.

The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 – ACT SG

The exhibition starts at ACT SG which is in The Canyon of level B1. This act shows the works from Singaporean artists.

The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 – ACT 1

Next to ACT SG is ACT 1 which is in Exhibition Gallery 1. This act shows the works created under “Create your Own Doraemon” theme which the artists take the inspiration from their memories of Doraemon.

The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 – ACT 2

The ACT 2 in Gallery Theatre shows the works which their artists are inspired from Doraemon movies.

The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 – ACT 2

This act also shows the works that moves and interact with light and shadow.

After explored all ACT on level B1, I return to the level 1 to see the last part of exhibition.
