The last part of this exhibition is MANGA DORAEMON Original Drawings Exhibition at Stamford Gallery. It is held together with The Doraemon Exhibition.
What makes this exhibition special is Doraemon manuscripts from Fujiko F Fujio Museum in Kawasaki are exhibited outside Japan for the first time.
The first part is the exhibition of replicated original manuscripts with the published version. They are grouped into each Doraemon’s main characters.
The second part shows how Fujiko F Fujio created his works and the exhibition of genuine original manuscripts.
There is also a replicated Fujiko F Fujio’s desk and chair which you can sit on and take photos with.
After finished seeing, I stopped by Doraemon Café to check it’s menu. Most of them are light meals and dessert including red bean jellies (yokan) from Toraya.
We can’t call this café the Doraemon Café if it misses his favorite dorayaki and his gadget Copying Toast which are also available there.
I hadn’t tried them but they should be good since the café collaboration with the Japanese red bean expert Toraya.
Before leaving the museum, I didn’t forget to check items sold in the souvenirs shop. Most of them are clear files, postcard, jigsaw and small goods featured the arts in the exhibition.
I think their prices are quite steep compared to my country’s price. So I only bought the exhibition book.
For those who are interested, you should be hurry since the exhibition will end on the 5th February. Doraemon fans who will visit Singapore during this time shouldn’t miss it.
