After I left Kuji Station and put my baggage in the hotel nearby. It’s time for Dinner which I planed to have it at Moka. The cafe that Cafe Rias in Amachan is modeled after.
Finally I was in Kuji. The town which inspires and used as the filming location for Kitasanriku Town in Amachan. Let’s look around the station area.

My main reason for visiting Iwate is to visit inspiring and filming location for Amachan. The NHK morning drama (Asadora) about female diver turned famous idol.
I began my Amachan location trip by getting on a Sanriku Tetsudo train to Kuji where is a main film location.
After leaving Jodogahama beach. I rode to the station as fast as I can before the train for Kuji departed. However I thought I cannot make it with the time I have.
It’s also almost the evening and I hadn’t had a lunch yet. So I rode to the town and looked for the place to eat instead.
The reason I visited Miyako is to take Sanriku Tetsudo train to Kuji where is my highlight destination in Iwate. However Miyako also has the famous place such as Jodogahama Beach that is ranked on the beautiful beach in Japan.
Since I was here in Miyako. Why should I not go to it?
