Japan Trip: Tokyo Disneyland – Lunch & Parade Show

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

After we finished walking around Adventureland, Now it’s time to go to Westernland where is the next of it.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

We haven’t anything in the morning yet so we visited Pacos Bill Cafe to buy something to eat first. Each areas have the different theme of food and snack. In case of Westernland. It’s  fried or grilled food.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

We bought BBQ Pork Rib and Mickey Churro. They’re delicious especially when we’re super hungry. For the drink we bought Calpico and Gingle Ale. I really want the drinking water but I can’t see it anywhere in here.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

The queue at Big Thunder Mountain’s still this long. Really want to ride it but we had limited time.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

We saw Tom Sawyer Island Rafts which has the shorter queue. So we gave it a try.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

We rode the raft to the island.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

This island theme is based on “The Adventure of Tom Sawyer” novel. There are a cave and mountain for your adventure. There is the give away map in the queue for your adventure experience.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

We can see other attractions in Westernland and Critter Country from this island such as Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

And this Mark Twain Riverboat that travel pass this island.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

This is the port for the riverboat above. The ship name is from the author of Tom Sawyer novel. Yes, it’s the novel that island theme is based on.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Next we queued for Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland area. It took us for almost 2 hours.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

In Peter Pan’s Flight we take a flying boat to see the events in Peter Pan. It’s quite fun but it’s very short.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Now it’s time to have a lunch. I checked the menu from the map and chose Grandma Sara’s Kitchen in Critter Country.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

There are 2 floor inside. We ordered the menu at the cashier where is on the basement.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

After ordered and paid at cashier we had to wait for our meals at the counter. The theme here is homemade meal.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

After we got our meals. We find the table around this floor.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Mine is Beef tomato stew with seasoned rice. It’s very delicious but the portion is too small.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

My sister’s is Omelet with seasoned rice and crab croquette.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

If you order them as a set, you will get a soft drink and salad.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

I was very impressed with the salad dressing box. You can pour the dressing to a salad without dirty your hand like the one in the bag.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

After we had a lunch. We queue for The Haunted Mansion in the Fantasyland area because we saw the waiting time’s 45 minutes. However it took more time than that. Luckily there is the parade show. So we watch them to kill time.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

The parade show is full of Disney characters. Since Disney bought Marvel and Lucasfilm. We may see their characters in the parade show in the future.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Many people come to the park earlier to reserve the area for watching the parade show.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Mowgli from The Jungle Book.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Lilo and Stitch.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Peter Pan.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

The Haunted Mansion’s maid put the pole in the floor for creating the queue area.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Chip and Dale.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Now we’re inside the mansion garden.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

The queue’s very long. Even FASTPASS holders have their long queue.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

Now we’re at the front gate but it’s still a long way.

Japan Trip : Tokyo Disneyland

The Haunted Mansion is the dark ride like The Pirate of Caribbean. It’s full of frighten special effects. I’m not frighten but impressed in how they do the things instead.

Next time I will write about the evening in Tokyo Disneyland and the dinner at Sushi restaurant in Shibuya. Please look forward to it.
