Recently I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes and my colleague who is the shoes collector told me about collaboration between adidas and Star Wars. As the Star Wars fan this news is very exciting. Now the day of release has come and I got it. It’s Darth Vader SUPERSTAR II shoes.

I bought them at adidas sport store in Central World Plaza on January 15th. The release day of Star Wars collection.

In the Star Wars collection the SUPERSTAR II is the cheapest. There are two color for SUPERSTAR II. The Stromtrooper white and the Darth Vader black which is the one I bought.  So the package is the paper box with the Star Wars pattern and adidas silver stripes on it. The higher price ones is packed in the clear blister pack.

Although the box is nice. It’s damaged while transporting. They should look after their stuff especially the stuff that are limited edition like this. On the box there are the Darth Vader and shoes info stickers. Its size is 10. The card and duo droid figures aren’t included.

“May the force be with you” on other side of the box.

In Thailand adidas gives the bobble head Darth Vader figure to the first 100 customers who buy both Star Wars collection shoes and clothes. Too bad this promotion’s only valid at adidas fashion store.

The stripes are glossy black with red on outer. Make the shoes more eye catching.

adidas and Star Wars tag on insole. There are adidas and cross light sabers logos on the insole surface too.

My thought on this shoes

This is the first adidas shoes I bought in my life and also the most expensive shoes. After I bought them and told my colleague about them. He said that SUPERSTAR is the adidas’s famous shoes style. So I searched information about it on the Internet and found that it’s the shoes for basketball players before people wear them as the casual shoes.

Tell the truth. First I don’t want this shoes. I want X-Wings shoes but the shoes haven’t sold in Thailand yet and I really needed the new shoes because I have two pairs of shoes. One is Reebok DMX Ride and other is Converse. Converse pair is too fit and hurt my feet. That’s why I find the new shoes.

I wore these shoes on Tuesday. The first feeling is it’s too large ! and I tightened the shoelaces. I thought I should believed the sale person get size 9 because he told me that the shoes will expand to fit my feet when I wear them for a while. But on the way to home I thought that I chose the right size because the shoes began to hurt side of my feet since my feet are bigger because of I walked a lot that day.

Because of this I can’t wear them to work yet since I usually stand at my workplace for a long time. I plan to wear them when I go to shopping and meet my friends instead.

Overall I really like this shoes. The style is plain but it looks good. The build quality is superb. Unlucky the box is damaged. I plan to buy more shoes of Star Wars collection if I have the money. If you’re Star wars fan. don’t miss this chance to own the shoes from Star Wars collection.
