There are 3 ways to go to the top of Schlossberg including Schlossbergbahn funicular which is free for Zone 1 ticket holder, Schlossberg lift which costs 2 Euro and climbing the staircase.
I chose to climb the stair which is quite steep. However, you can see the view below from the staircase while you are climbing .
When I reached the top, I found Uhrthrm which faces to the view of Graz below.
We can also see the city art museum, Kunsthaus Graz which is another important place from here.
At the time I visited, There was an installation art named Liquid Truth that was inspired from the words “truth is the daughter of time”
It took the data with #fake and #truth from Twitter and projected them on the face of Uhrthrm to make the fast-moving nature of the discourse of truth in the digital age visible to the audiences.
Other than the clock tower, there are also some restaurants and cafes on Schlossberg.
After I climbed down from Schlossberg, I stopped by Kastner & Öhler. The department store is on Sackstrasse street where I had just passed.
In my opinion, I loved how the goods were merchandized in the store which was similar to the high end department store in my country. It is different from GALERIA in Munich which had more traditional department store feel.
After I walked around and finished my business there, I walked back to Hauptplatz-Congress to return to my hotel by taking the trams.
That ‘s all of my first Europe trip blog. I also want to write about the Eurorack shops I visited but they are closed physically now. So, I have to conclude my blog without them.
Since I am very busy recently, I hope I can find the time to write about my travel again in the future.
