Today I’m going to review another calendar I got recently. It’s AKB48 2013 Official Calendar Box from Shogakukan. Let’s see what’s inside it.
There are 5 types of this calendar. The different for each version are the pattern of B2 poster for those pre-order the calendar and the shop they are place their orders. Type A is for Seven Net Shopping. Type B is for Amazon Japan. Type C is for AKB48 Official Shop. Type D is for AKB48 Mobile and Type E is for other shops than the ones mentioned earlier.
I got mine from HMV Japan through my agent so I got Type E version.
On the back is the instruction how to use this calendar. There are 6 pages of calendar which you can decorate each pages with the sticker come with the calendar. So you are never boring using it.
There is the page which contain NSFW content if you don’t use the sticker to cover it. If you plan to use it in public area, reconsider it.
Pull the box sleeve. You will see the pink cardboard box. Good design.
The calendar is rolled in the box.
Other stuffs is inside the roll of calendar.
Let’s see what inside. There are the calendar, sticker sheets, clear file, folded B2 poster, 3 randomly picked photos and paper pants.
The color of paper pants is random. I got yellow which I don’t like it. (I don’t know why they included it in the first place.) Since it made from paper you can’t wash and iron it.
Here’s the 3 photo I got. Luckily I got my oshimen Matsui Rena this time.
Here’s the postcard which is privilege for those who pre-order the calendar at HMV Japan
Although I really like the concept of this calendar which allow you to play with it. The calendar contains 6 pictures for using in 1 year (It’s too less.) and they try to put it the stuffs which the collectors may like such as clear file, photos and that paper pants. I don’t think I like all them. I think the Nogizaka46 calendar I reviewed earlier is more suitable to be used as the calendar than it.
For those who interested CDJapan still has it stocked. Get them while you can.
